An Invitation to Participate

Food As Medicine Global

The idea of food as medicine resonates with many in health care and food production. Nutrition is increasingly integrated into health professional training, patient care, and discussions around farming, fishing, ranching, and other food systems. However, people across many communities who want to eat well cannot access healthy or even enough food. Many of those producing and providing our food and health care navigate a multitude of inequities.

Moreover, in the face of the climate crisis, species loss and more, we are called to appreciate the inter-connectedness of all life. For example, One Health - a global approach to health and well-being - recognizes the interrelationship of human and more-than human well-being.

Food as Medicine Global is excited to partner with the One Sacred Earth Project on the Global Day of Gratitude Project, and through the lead-up to the Food as Medicine Global conference.

As a partner, we are inviting you to anonymously share (a short online activity (5 min)) your relationship with the more-than-human world. What we learn will be shared back with you, our community in the form of a gratitude invocation. As Food as Medicine Global, let's contribute to a global conversation and participate in a growing global community of gratitude practice. Participate here through this simple form.
